Fermat Science (France)

The association Fermat Science aims to promote and popularize mathematics and science, heritage and culture through the character and work of the famous mathematician Pierre de Fermat. Through its actions of popularization, Fermat Science hopes to contribute to encouraging more young people (especially girls) to move toward scientific careers. It has been developing teaching tools and exhibitions and organizes events and workshops for schools and the general public. For each of the projects developed, a scientific council validates the tools.

Fermat Science has been growing continuously for several years. Through its multiple partnerships, it has, over the years, gained notoriety. The association is a leader in several European projects, including ERASMUS+ projects on the themes of non-formal education, mathematics and science.

Fermat Science is in charge of the animation of Pierre de Fermat’s birthplace, located in Beaumont-de-Lomagne in the Tarn-et-Garonne.
In 2024, the association will open the The Fermat Museum, in the birth house of Pierre de Fermat. It will dedicate the life and work of the mathematician and mathematics and informatics in general. The first temporary exhibition will be on artificial intelligence.

YuzuPulse (France)

YuzuPulse aims to bring innovative solutions to areas where IT tools are not always widely adopted, such as the social economy and education. Its founders noticed that those who are not IT experts often feel intimidated by the number of technological tools available today. Because of that, many interesting resources are still underestimated and unused in education. YuzuPulse’s team strongly believes that there is a need to democratize technology and to make it user-friendly, so that everyone, especially the ones working in the social fields, can use them.

YuzuPulse is active in co-creation and design of educational programs with social entrepreneurs and education specialists. Its team has a lot of experience in designing learning materials. In addition, they take advantage of games and gamification to create innovative tools and methods. This allows them to work on topics that range from STEM, languages, key skills and entrepreneurship.

Zespół Szkół nr 31 im. J. Kilińskiego (Poland)

The institution consists of General Secondary School, Technical and Vocational School with vocational training classes: jewelry, optics and advertisement technology. It is located in the center of Warsaw, at Żoliborz estate, near the underground and railway station for satellite suburban towns.
